Wastin’ Time

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a update on what I’m up to. Mainly it’s because I’m having a summer of avoiding editing. Instead, I spend most of my time on household stuff, especially gardening.
Just spent the last week enjoying time with family and moving rocks from the neighbor’s front yard to our backyard. To save us all some money, they’re simplifying and we’re re-purposing.

The plan is to replace the current mishmash of rock edging around the gardens in the backyard with the red sandstone in the picture. What you don’t see are four more piles of rocks. We just finished moving the rocks today and surprisingly without injury.

In general, it’s been a crazy year of catching up on household projects. It’s all I want to do lately, and it is doing great things for my soul and mental health to spend every minute it’s not 98 degrees outside.

At the same time, it is Sunday and the start of a new week that is more than half way through the year. After taking some time to review my goals and projects, I’m hoping to get back on track tomorrow. And it’s not like I’ve been doing nothing. It’s just felt kinda painful to sit down to edit, so I’ve been developing Barry’s fallen angel dad, Azael, along with the second trilogy.

That’s all for now. Stay tuned.¬† More pictures on garden progress to come. I’ll also let you know when Warrant for Damnation starts back up on Wattpad.

Fall for FreedomLooking for a short, funny tale. Check out Pete Sinclair’s story in the Fall for Freedom prequel to The Courier series. He’s been blamed for closing the Gates of Hell and releasing an imprisoned fallen angel by the name of Azael. Lucky for Pete, an angel’s apprentice believes he’s innocent. She offers him freedom from Satan’s forces in exchange for his help returning Azael to his prison cell. If only he and the demon who possesses him had the courage and know how to fight a fallen angel.
