Welcome to October Frights, featuring Halloween Fables by Winnie Jean Howard and poetry by C. Reschke.
Boogeyman
In darkness I dwell
A creature from Hell
waiting to hunt my prey.
From the closet I lie
Unable to die
Coming to take you away.
You whine and you moan
You complain and you groan
Feeding the demon inside
Oh how sweet
Is your rotten meat
Here is where you’ll reside.
Forever yours,
The Boogeyman

Thank you so much! There’s more to come!
I love the line, “From the closet I lie unable to die coming to take you away.” So CREEPY!
