An awesome start to the week

Posted by W.J. Howard

Despite the fact that we had another kid in the hospital over the weekend, this time getting stitched up from a cut to the hand by a broken glass, AND I had another flu virus attack me last week, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MONDAY’S EVER!

The Courier was released this morning! WHOO HOO!! GO BUY IT NOW! Or, get it for free by dropping by one of the Minor Insanity social networking site, then follow us and I’ll send you a coupon code for a free copy. This promotion will run until March 1st. Here’s the links. Take your pick.

  • Twitter: I’ll DM back the code. Easy enough.
  • facebook: Tricky because I’ll have to also friend you and then will send you a message with the code.
  • Google+: Equally tricky because you’ll have to follow me and allow me to send you messages.
  • Contact Me: If you find all the social media methods a pain in the ass, fill out our contact form and I’ll email ya the coupon code.

Geeze, that’s incentive enough to just buy the damn thing.

I’ll also be giving away a few annual subscription to The Courier during the Bloody Hearts Blog Hop. Stay tuned. The drawing will open in the next couple days and will run like Tim’s three eBook drawing over on the Vamplit blog now.

And speaking of Mr. Hobbs
, if you missed it he joined our blog last week. Welcome again to ya, Tim. He has quickly become one of my favorite horror writers, so I highly recommend his books. He’s very good at developing characters you will love or love to hate. You can read about his novels in the right column and click on the book to go to Smashwords to purchase one. If you’re real nice and contact us for a copy of The Pumpkin Seed, between now and the Bloody Hearts Blog Hop, I’m sure I can get a few copies out to ya.

Ask the Author returns next week. R.J. and I were answering a question a week last year on the Bloodlegger’s blog and we’re going to begin doing it again every Wednesdays. In addition we will invite another horror, fantasy and/or sci fi author in to answer as well. I’ll have a form for readers to submit questions too. Oh, and contact us if you would like to be a guest one week.

#HorrorChat is about Mr. Stephen King this Wednesday on Twitter, and as always you can join us all week long on Dark Media City too.

This week starts oddities month for #FridayFlash. Tim and I will start the month writing about medical and dental oddities.

Other than that, tons of stuff to do and no new news on Bloodleggers, so enjoy your week all.
